I knew that I wanted to lose my virginity with someone I loved and trusted, and I wanted to make sure that it was a positive experience. I also knew that I wanted to be protected from sexually transmitted infections (STIs),so I decided to go to Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood is a non-profit organization that provides reproductive health care services, including STI testing and counseling. I had heard good things about Planned Parenthood from my friends, so I decided to make an appointment.
The day of my appointment, I was nervous but also excited. I checked in at the front desk and was given a clipboard with some paperwork to fill out. The paperwork asked about my medical history, sexual history, and current symptoms. I also had to provide a urine sample for an STI test.
After I filled out the paperwork, I was taken to a counseling room. The counselor was very friendly and understanding. She asked me about my reasons for coming to Planned Parenthood and about my expectations for my first sexual experience. She also answered all of my questions about STIs and birth control.
After my counseling session, I was taken to the exam room. The nurse who performed my STI test was very gentle and professional. The test was quick and painless. I also received a prescription for birth control, which I started taking right away.
A few days later, I received a call from Planned Parenthood with my STI test results. I was relieved to learn that I was negative for all STIs. I was also glad that I had taken the steps to protect myself from pregnancy.
Losing my virginity was a positive experience for me. I was with someone I loved and trusted, and I knew that I was protected from STIs. I am grateful to Planned Parenthood for providing me with the information and support I needed to make this important decision.
If you are considering losing your virginity, here are some tips:
* Make sure that you are with someone you love and trust. * Get tested for STIs before you have sex. * Use birth control to prevent pregnancy. * Talk to a counselor if you have any questions or concerns about losing your virginity.
Planned Parenthood can help you with all of these things. They offer STI testing, birth control, and counseling services. They also have a variety of resources available online and in their clinics.
Losing your virginity is a big decision. It is important to be informed and to make sure that you are comfortable with your decision. Planned Parenthood can help you make this important decision with confidence.
